Welcome to The Ashley Rose
Why You’ll Want to Stay at The Ashley Rose
The Ashley Rose units are a combination of a whole house 7-bedroom house and four unique one-bedroom cottages. They are a perfect alternative to our other bed and breakfast properties, as they offer our guests a lower cost alternative to the high-end services offered at our boutique B&B properties.
The Ashley Rose stays do not include breakfast, afternoon tea, or any makeup bedroom services, but with self check-in/check-out capabilities, these units offer privacy at an affordable price, especially for guests wishing to stay between 2 and 7 days, or longer.
The History of Ashley Rose
The Ashley Rose was built in 1872 as the vacation home of the Tuck family. This grand home is a classic example of Gothic Revival architecture with it one-story wrap-around porch, horizontal wood cladding, two over two sash window panes, and the asymmetrical & unpredictable floor plan.
The new owners of the property purchased The Ashley Rose in May of 2018. The property had previously been operating as a vacation rental property / guest house and following a complete renovation, the new owners are continuing to rent the main house and the four one-bedroom cottage units to guests looking for that perfect home at the shore.
This grand Gothic Revival Victorian boasts 7 bedrooms with 6 bathrooms, chic furniture, many oversized suites, and a stately porch. With dining for 16, an oversized stunning living room with a fireplace, and a majestic staircase, The Ashley Rose Main House is the perfect place to call your home away from home. The four one-bedroom cottages also offer a stylish alternative to many traditional Cape May one-bedroom rentals.
